Something About Making an Entrance

This week as I was going around gathering up the never-ending pile of leaves from the trees surrounding my home, I noticed many things I usually walk past when my garden is in full bloom. For…

Be legendary

Let me put some pieces of text in front of you. I’ll let you guess what it is.

Are you seeing a pattern over here? I guess you’ve found out what those pieces of text are. You’re right. They are the tag lines of famous companies like Nike, Apple, Cafe Coffee Day, KFC, Coco-Cola, McDonald’s, Adidas, Gillette, and L’Oreal.

Why am I telling you these when you already know about it? Well, let me come to the point. All those tag lines are catchy phrases that are fun to listen to and share. hat’s what makes ordinary people like us remember those tag lines. Those tag lines make us remember those companies.

Of course, I know most of them won’t be talking about tag lines while you’re chatting. But do you know the power of those tag lines?

Ya, you do know that it works for those companies. What’s in it for me? (Is this what you’re thinking?). Well, those tag lines don’t just work for companies, they also do work for us. Not their tag lines, but our own tag lines if we have one.

And the tag line that I have in my mind for today is “Be Legendary”. I always keep telling myself to be legendary. That pushes me to work hard, learn new things, explore more, become smarter, and get better every day. That tag line inspires me to take action when I’m feeling low.

I always tell “Be Legendary”, a hundred times per day. That’s not a tag line that I invented but heard it from a podcast. It may be not my own creation, but having that tag line to myself and repeating it daily just works for me.

If you don’t have a tag line, just pick one that amazes & inspires you. Repeat that to yourself every single day. Internalize it. It will do marvels at the later stage of your life. Do you have a tag line running on your mind? Let me know what it is.

P.S. — Want to know from which podcast I heard that tag line? If you’re a podcast fan, try finding it out. Or else comment below, I’ll let you know in the comments section.
